The site is written for readers in Australia, in Australian English, with Australian consumer law and Australian government services as its reference points. The publisher is not established in Australia, and nothing here is legal advice; where the site describes a legal position it links to the Australian body that states it, so you can read the source rather than rely on a summary.
What the site covers
Consumer antivirus and device-security subscriptions: how the software works, how to decide whether you need a paid plan, how to count the devices in a household, how to compare two plans on the same terms, and which Australian service to contact when the problem is not a software problem. The guides are listed on the home page.
The site is deliberately narrow. It does not cover business or enterprise security products, network hardware, or anything requiring specialist advice.
How coverage is decided
This is the part most sites in this category leave vague, so it is stated directly.
Coverage is limited to products the publisher has a commercial relationship with
At present that means one product, TotalAV, which is why it is the product named in the worked examples throughout the site. This site does not survey the market, does not rank products, and is not in a position to tell you that one product is better than another. A site funded the way this one is cannot honestly claim to have assessed the field impartially, so it does not make the claim.
Product statements come from the vendor, and nowhere else
Anything said here about a specific product is drawn from what the vendor itself publishes. Where the vendor does not state something, the page says it is not stated rather than filling the gap with an assumption. Prices, plan contents and licence limits are never reproduced here, because they change and a stale figure is worse than no figure.
General claims are linked to their source
Statements about risk, law or regulators link to the body that says it — the ACCC, the OAIC, the ACSC, Scamwatch, eSafety. Where no source can be named, the point is written as general guidance or left out. Nothing here presents an invented statistic, a test result or a score.
Commission changes nothing about what a page says
The commercial arrangement determines which product appears, and that is disclosed. It does not determine what is written about the product. The product page declines to tell readers the product suits them, because the site is not in a position to know that.
How the site is funded
Advertising, in one form: paid links. When a reader follows the TotalAV link and subscribes, the publisher receives a commission from the advertising network that places the link. The reader pays the vendor's ordinary price and the link adds nothing to it. That is the site's only source of revenue; it sells no products, collects no data and runs no advertising network of its own. The affiliate disclosure page gives the full detail.
Authorship and what is not here
Pages are written and maintained by the D.J. TECH PRAHA s.r.o. editorial team. The site publishes no bylines, no author biographies and no staff profiles, because inventing them would be dishonest and the real answer is simply the publisher named above.
You will not find testimonials, user reviews, star ratings, award badges or certification seals on this site. Not because such things are always fabricated, but because this publisher has none that are real and verifiable, and displaying decorative ones would undermine everything else on the page.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, out of date, or reads as a claim the site cannot support, write to info@polarisnetwork.online and say which page and which sentence. Corrections are made to the page itself and the review date in the footer is updated. Every page carries the date it was last reviewed so you can judge how current it is.
Privacy, in one sentence
This site has no forms, sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts and collects nothing beyond the ordinary server logs kept by the hosting provider — the privacy policy and cookie policy set out exactly what that means and how long anything is kept.
